Description
Adenoviruses are medium-sized(60-90nm), non-enveloped icosahedral viruses containing double-stranded DNA. Adenoviruses are unusually stable to chemical or physical agents and adverse pH conditions, allowing for prolonged survival outside of the body and water.

Pathology
Human mastadenovirus C has 4 subtypes: 1,2,5,6. They are associated with respiratory and gastrointestinal infections including hepatitis and urinary infection.
